Maa- ja metsätalousyrittäjän verotus keveni vuoden alusta. Yrittäjävähennys merkitsee maa- ja metsätalouden harjoittajille noin 38 miljoonan euron verosäästöä. Yrittäjävähennys on toistaiseksi voimassa oleva ja siten tuo summa tulee maa- ja metsätalousyrittäjien hyödyksi joka vuosi.
Yrittäjävähennyksessä tuloverolakia muutettiin siten, että elinkeinotoiminnan, maatalouden ja porotalouden tuloksesta vähennetään verotuksessa 5 prosenttia. Metsätalouden verotuksessa otetaan huomioon vastaava vähennys.
– Tämä on ollut MTK:n tavoite jo pitkään, korostaa MTK:n johtaja Timo Sipilä Tili- ja veropäivillä 13.1.2017 Kuopiossa.
Sipilä pitää tärkeänä myös sitä, että yhteismetsän jääminen vähennyksen ulkopuolelle pystyttiin eduskunnassa vielä korjaamaan laskemalla yhteismetsiin sovellettavaa verokantaa 26,5 prosenttiin. Myös metsätalouden tappiollisen pääomatulon 5 prosenttiyksikön vähennysrajoitus poistettiin.
– Yrittäjävähennyksen toteutuminen kaikki yritystoiminnan alueet kattavana on maa- ja metsätalousyrittäjien kannalta tärkeä asia, linjaa Sipilä.
Tili- ja veropäivät Kuopiossa järjestää MTK-Pohjois-Savo. Tilaisuuteen osallistuu yli 120 maa- ja metsätalouden ammattilaista ja tilitoimistoyrittäjää.
